He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Atkinson and Margaret Atkinson; and his brother Donald Atkinson. He is survived by : his wife Dorothy; his children, James Gilbert Atkinson, Michael Andrew Atkinson and Julie Ann Andrews (Lee Andrews); his grandchildren, Christopher Andrews, Jenifer Andrews, Jimmy Atkinson Jr. and Erin Atkinson; and also, Adrian and Nathaniel.
