He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul W. Michael and Elsie N. Michael; his wife Barbara Ann Michael; and his sister Mary L. Mellott. He is survived by: his sons, Brian (Roxanne) of Goldvein, VA and Mark (Monica) of Goldvein; his girlfriend Vicky Woody of Remington, VA; his brother Jim (Connie) of Winston Salem, NC; his grandchildren, Kyle (Ashley) of Goldvein, VA, Ivy Meadows, Katrina Campbell (Simeon) and Rachel Meadows; and his great grandchildren, Silas, Tristan, Addison, Tyson, Thalia and Serenity.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
