He is survived by: his wife Shirley B. Sparks; his children, Donald R. Sparks (Lexa), Clarence W. Sparks (Debbie), Jeffery A. Sparks, Carolyn S. Carver and Martha S. Mowbary (Greg); his stepdaughters, Sheila Hawthorne (Jim), Lynn Blankenship and Annette F. Adams (Reed); and his sisters, Mary Virginia Mauck and Edna "Pat" Gipson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five step grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
