We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2026, at the age of 91, Donald Lucero (Gordonsville, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Donald has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He is survived by: his children, Scott and Lei Lani; his wife Barbara; his sons, Michael (Rhonda) and Anthony (Crystal); and his siblings, Edward and Norma.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Monticello Memory Gardens (670 Thomas Jefferson Pkwy, Charlottesville, VA 22902).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Piedmont.
