He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Trainum and Carrie Trainum. He is survived by: his child Newton Trainum (Judy); his sisters, Teresa Norton (Robert), Carolyn Brookman (Aubrey) and Rosalyn Anderson; his grandchildren, Anna, Paula, Matthew (Ashley), Bobby (Laura), Garrett, Jessica and Husband Danny; and his great grandchildren, Halley, Sidney, Chandler, Audrey, Ashton, Addison and Dylan.
