He is survived by: his wife Claudia; and his children, Kim Buckley (Rocky), Mark Easteadt (Tracy) and Scott Easteadt (Shauna). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and many other family members and friends.

In the last six years, Richard and Claudia have enjoyed the many services and social activities provided by the local Alzheimer's Association.
