She is survived by: her husband Sam Thornton Martin, Jr; her daughters, Katherine Palmer, Frances Martin-Falanga and Susan Martin Young; her sons-in-law, Mark Palmer, Thomas Falanga and Derek Young; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Van Wazer and David Palmer; William Van Wazer.
