She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Earl Roberts, Sr. and Christie Ellen Roberts; her sister Patricia Baker (Patsy); her brother-in-law William Baker; and her foster daughter SGT Caryn Reynal.
She is survived by: her husband John Mark Ward of Greenville; her sons, Elijah (Jennifer) of Poquoson, VA, Micah (Amy) of Charlotte, NC and Jordan (Jazmyn) of Fredericksburg, VA; her foster sons, Josh Dudley and Adam Mays; her grandchildren, Samuel Mark, John Warner, Matthew John, Cameron Micah, Zuriel Ruben, Grace Elizabeth, Kira Williams and Iris Mercer; her siblings, Howard Roberts and Deborah Reynal (David); and her brothers-in-law, Avery Ward (Jane) and Jeffery Ward (Kathryn). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
