We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2021, at the age of 80, Alfred Collins of Gretna, Virginia, born in Winston Salem, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alfred Collins to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Glen Collins and Bertha America Collins; his wife Jean Wood Collins; and his siblings, Glen Collins, Aubrey Collins and Gladys Collins.
He is survived by: his daughter Deborah "Debbie" Ferguson (J. Hatcher Ferguson III) of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, John Hatcher Ferguson IV of Rocky Mount, Thomas Davis Ferguson of Rocky Mount and Winifred Belle Ferguson of Rocky Mount; and his sister Joyce Collins Foy of Maryland.
Everyone attending the service must wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church of Gretna Music Ministry Fund, P.O. Box 339, Gretna, Virginia 24557.
