She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Ambrose Ickes and Hattie Bell Weyant Ickes; her husband Gene Calvin Dalton; and her sons, Gene "Butch" Dalton and Gerald "Jerry" Dalton.

She is survived by : her sons, Randy Dalton (Cathy) of Lynchburg, Mark Dalton (Debbie) of California and James Dalton of Gretna; her grandchildren, Zachary Gold Dalton, Zoey Alexandra Johnson, Jennifer Marie and Courtney Karkenny; and her great grandchildren, Robert Beau Johnson, Gracie Witt and Camryn Witt.
