He was predeceased by : his parents, Haywood J. Graves and Ruth Robertson Graves; and his brothers, Lawrence and James Graves. He is survived by : his friend Dorothy Lowry of Lynchburg, Virginia; his children, Haywood McKenly Graves (Phyllis) of Danville, Lisa Ann Northington (Rich) of Greensboro and Damien Lamar Stephens (Tinisha) of Danville, Virginia; his siblings, Oscar Graves (Bertha) of Pittsville, Jewel Graves (Loretta) of Pittsville, Eugene Graves (Deborah) of Pittsville, Alvin Graves (Beatrice) of Oxon Hill, Maryland, Timothy Graves of Oxon Hill, Maryland and Janice Knox (Michael) of Danville, Virginia; his grandchildren, Antwon Graves of Atlanta and Isaiah Strickland of Danville, Virginia; and his aunt Irene Robertson of Richmond. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
