She was predeceased by : her father Felix Thornton Vasser, Sr.; her son Joey Bennett; and her brother-in-law Mike Shriver. She is survived by : her mother Annie Bell Hedrick Vasser of Gretna; her daughters, Penny Haskins of Gretna and Amanda "Mandy" Shelton of Gretna; her siblings, Tony Vasser (Angie) of Gretna, Margaret Vasser of Gretna, Peggy V. Blair (Bobby) of Gretna, Frances V. Knox (Jim) of Gretna, Katherine V. Shriver of Gretna and Darnell V. Robertson (Jeff) of Hurt; and her close friend Roy Mayhew of Pittsville. She is also survived by five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
