She was predeceased by: her parents, Ned Haley and Annie Logan Haley; her husband Rosco Barksdale; her granddaughter Charita Dews; and her siblings, Gracie Haley, Sarah Haley, Emma Whetstone, Louise Hubbard, Pattie Watson, Carolyn Hodnett, Rachel Myers, Walter, Edward, Remus and Joe Haley.
She is survived by: her children, Denwood Barksdale (Erlene), Rosco Barksdale, Jr., Derenda Dews (Charlie Dews), Jacqueline Merritt and Elvis Barksdale (Cherry). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to The American Heart Association or to the Alzheimer's Association.
