She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Hammack and Eliza Hall Hammack; her husband Richard Thompson; her children, Johnny Ray Thompson, Jimmy Wayne Thompson, Nancy Cordani and Betty Horner; her grandson Richard Horner; and her siblings, Pete Hammack, Calvin Hammock, Clifton Hammack, Roy Hammock, Ethel Myers, Sallie Hammock, Gladys Tuck, Elva Hammack and Shirley Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Donald "Duck" Thompson (Jerri) of Gretna, Peggy Cook (Danny) of Gretna and Christine Thompson of Gretna. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
