We bid farewell to Alvin Leroy Layne of Grottoes, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 3, 2025 at the age of 81. Alvin Leroy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert "Pete" Layne and Janie "Jack" Layne (Lawson); and his great grandchild Braydon Roseberry. He is survived by: his children, Sherri Hinkle (Clint) and Jerry Layne (Kim); his sister Patricia Cash (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Nichole Bryant (Josh) of Kansas, Robert Roseberry III, Laci Monger (Drew), Janie Marie Elmore (Hunter), Madison Gregory (Michael), Jesse Layne, Kierra Carey (Devon), Mary Grace Graber and Walker Hinkle; and his daughter Donna Graber (Greg). He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
