She was predeceased by : her parents, Hazel Carmines Slaight and James E. Slaight; and her grandson Robert William Ellis, III. She is survived by : her husband Lynn Edward Allsbrook of Hampton; her daughters, Deborah Kay Ellis (Bob) of Smithfield and Sherry Lynn Collins of Chesapeake; and her grandson Randall Ellis. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zion United Methodist Church Building Fund or Cemetery Fund.
