He was predeceased by : his daughter Dawn Jonas; his siblings, James Jonas, Leroy Jonas and Anne Jonas Pruitt; and his grandson Aidan Lane.

He is survived by : his wife Judy Elkins Jonas; his daughters, Darii Jonas Lane and DeeDee Jonas Camozzi; his sons-in-law, Donald Lane and Jake Camozzi; his grandchildren, Rachel, Seth, Phoebe and Augustus; and his brother Earl Jonas. He is also survived by his wife, his children and grandchildren.
