It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Shortt (Hampton, Virginia), born in Tarboro, North Carolina, who passed away on August 4, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Shortt; her siblings, James Howard Parker and Ann Parker Jamerson; and her grandson Brian Michael Shortt. She is survived by: her son David E. Shortt (Ann) of Yorktown; her grandchildren, Sherin Dee Linsley (Micah) of Knoxville, TN and Michael David Shortt (Ashley Lauren) of Yorktown; and her great grandchildren, Blake, Tanner Linsley, Morgan and Mikaela Shortt.
