It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Etta Susan Bartgis of Hampton, Virginia, born in Hinton, West Virginia, who passed away on January 4, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Caudell and Virginia Helen Fitzpatrick Caudell; her spouse Kay Richard Bartgis; and her siblings, Anna L. Proffit and Donald W. Caudell.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael (Linda), Jeffrey (Rene) and David (Sandy); and her siblings, Richard Caudell and Dorothy Smith. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
