He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Brown and Mary Brown; his wife Lucy H. Brown; and his siblings, Allen, David, Peter, Elijah, Joseph Brown and Carrie Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Ethel Baker, Linda Howell (Michael), Floyd H. Brown (Valerie) and Carolyn Richardson (late Ronald); his grandchildren, Michael E. Howell II Ronald W. (Bethany), Richardson Jr. Kimberly D. (Donna), Christopher L. Richardson, Kevin Brown Howell (Tamika) and Tiffany N. Richardson; and his great grandchildren, Victoria Howell, Mason Howell, Gabrielle Evelyn, Michael E. Howell III, Brandon Evenly, Madelyn Evelyn and Nailah Howell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
