He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Louis and Yvonne Roburge Richard; and his former wife Phyllis Rakes Richard. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Richard; his children, Steven Crutchfield, Michael Crutchfield, Annette Abesa and James Crutchfield; and his sisters, Jeannie Richard and Lorraine Hoffman. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; seven nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
