She was predeceased by: her husband Craig L. Ruddell. She is survived by: her former husband Donald W. DeCoster, Jr.; her children, Donald W. DeCoster, III, Catherine Vernon DeCoster Verdin and Cathy; and her grandchildren, Wes, Zack, Roy, Christopher, Drew, Spring, Hamid and Saphia. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.

“Peace be with both Rosemary and Craig Ruddell. They have been joined again so soon and both will be greatly missed here in Hilton Village. I met Rosemary through Craig when we taught an unruly group of teens together (and survived)! Both were kind and caring souls. Craigs blackhaw trees will live on in my yard in their memory as well as many fond memories.”
