He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Corbin and Eva Porter; and his siblings, James, Phillip, Helen Carr and Anna Mae Sayle.

He is survived by: his grandson Desta; his friends, Cummings and Williams; his sisters, Gloria Miller, Jannie Campbell and Eva Corbin; and his stepchildren, James Sayles and Zina Tillery. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
