He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Sugar; his parents, Paul James and Naomi Shell; his sister Sylvia Rebecca Shell; his wife Anita Kathrine "Kitty" Shell; his great grandchildren, Sophie, Emma, Lillian Salsgiver, Brooklyn, Bayler Shell, Nora Salsgiver and Fordham; his siblings, Shirley Wallace and Woody Shell (Janet); his cousin Barbara Sanders; and his friend Kenneth Blevins. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
