It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Kreider Burkhart of Harrisonburg, Virginia, born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Burkhart and Ruth Kreider Burkhart; his wife Carol Darlene Gaeddert Burkhart; his daughter Christine Burkhart; and his siblings, Jay Burkhart and Dorothy Sweigart.

He is survived by : his daughters, Ann Burkhart of Sacramento, CA and Elizabeth Benbow of Staunton, VA; and his grandsons, Jameson Benbow of San Diego, CA. and Liam Benbow of San Diego, CA..

A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Park View Mennonite Church (1600 College Ave, Harrisonburg, VA 22802).
