She was predeceased by : her parents, Clem Switzer and Mildred Bell Shifflett Whitesell; and her sister Joyce Sharp. She is survived by : her husband Winston Keith Coakley; her children, Angela Harper (Shane) of Port Republic and Brian Coakley (Lisa) of Rockingham; her grandchildren, Kevin Conrad, Brittany Hargray (Vernon), Autumn McCoy (Jacob), Julian Coakley and Adyn Harper; and her great grandchildren, Marlo Hargray and Oliver McCoy.
