She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Harden and Ruth Harden (Howe); her daughter Kelly Simmons; and her close friend Maureen Judy. She is survived by: her husband James; her daughters, Tracey Muterspaugh (William "Billy") and Tricia Eagle (Rick); her sisters, Joyce Ringler and Ginger Harden; her grandchildren, Andy Muterspaugh, Ashley Muterspaugh, Sara Luna (Nahum), Ryan Hildebrand, Ryan Eagle and Kyle Eagle (Anna); her great grandchild Selene Luna; and also Jane Howe.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (17 Court Square, Harrisonburg, VA 22801).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bridgewater College or the Ashby Animal Clinic Cares Fund.
