She was predeceased by : her parents, Percy John and Lily Emily Smith; her daughter Katherine Robinson; and her brother Jack Smith. She is survived by : her husband Clarence "Chip" Brand; her son Russell W. Brand (Mary) of Elyria, OH; her grandchildren, Paul Saxton, Matthew and Ashlee Brand; her sister-in-law Patricia Smith; her niece Nancy Seguin; and her nephew Jay Smith.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Meredith Chapel - Sunnyside Retirement Community (3935 Sunnyside Dr, Harrisonburg, VA 22801).
