He is survived by: his wife Katherine Eye; his children, Sam Sencindiver (Dee Dee) of Linville and Pam Lohr (Lester) of Broadway; his granddaughter Ashley Newcity (Colin) of Penn Laird; his great grandchildren, Gray and Wells Newcity; his siblings-in-law, Bud Eye (Ida) of Hinton, Phyllis Rhodes of Harrisonburg, Jo Ansah (David) of Harrisonburg and Sara Rojas (Guillermo) of England; and his close friends, Elmer, Janice Lokey, Carolyn Landis, Don Kidd, Jr. and Russell Barr. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
