She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Rife and Lydia Rowe Rife; her husband Lacy Justus; her son Mark Justus; her grandson Thomas Lee Rife; and her siblings, Ann Osborne, Hester Lester, Charlie Rife, Lowell Rife, Frank Rife and William C. Rife.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Ward (Neil) of Cedar Bluff, VA, Michelle Boyd (Dale) of Elliston, VA, Elizabeth Justus of Haysi, VA, John Paul Justus (Charlotte) of Cedar Bluff, VA and Thomas Rife (Nancy) of Delaware; her siblings, Wilma Stacy of Vansant, VA, Ralph Rife (Jennifer) of Grundy, VA and Paul Rife (Easter) of Grundy, VA.; her grandchildren, Brittany Anderson, Dominic Anderson, Skyler Sebastian, Whitley Wagner, Tanner Wagner, John Michael Justus, Hannah Justus, Collin Justus, Lydia Balcom, Mya Foster, Macii Johnson and Amarii Johnson; her stepgrandchildren, John Ward, Michael Ward, Brandon Boyd, Tyler Boyd, Hannah Ward and Kyle Auville; and her great grandchildren, Zoey Anderson, Brantley Alexander and Landon Alexander. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
