James Harvey Whited III Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Harvey Whited III of Henrico, Virginia, who passed away on July 14, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Jonathan Mayhew; his sister Karen Elliott; and his parents, James Harvey Whited and Rose Whited. He is survived by: his son Carl Piercey; his siblings, David L. Whited, Dawn W. Johnson (Kevin) and Bruce W. Whited (Juliana); his grandchildren, Jonathon Mayhew and Emily Mayhew; his uncle Joe Sparks (Carolyn); and his aunt Janet Ammeen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Found Church of Christ (14166 Gordons Ln, Glen Allen, VA 23059).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
