He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frank Whitlow and Ella Smith Whitlow; and his siblings, Kenneth Whitlow, Bobby Whitlow, Edward Whitlow, Dewey Whitlow, David Whitlow and Elizabeth Whitlow Lowery (Libby).
He is survived by: his brother Curtis; his sister-in-law Loretta Whitlow of Axton, Virginia; his children, Timothy Whitlow of Bassett, Virginia, Gregory Whitlow of Bassett, Virginia, Warren Whitlow of Bassett, Virginia and Angela Whitlow Dillon (Robert Dillon); his stepson Jeff Hollandsworth; his grandchildren, Megan Whitlow of Ridgeway, Virginia and David Dillon of Bassett, Virginia; and his stepgrandchildren, Crystal Kiser of Bassett and Christopher Dillon. He is also survived by numerous Great Grandchildren, Step-Great Grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews.
