He was predeceased by : his parents, John Arthur Smith, Sr. and Ruth Nurney Smith; and his siblings, John Arthur Smith, Jr., Neil Wayne Smith and Sharon Smith Goodman.
He is survived by : his daughter Holly Marie Smith; his sisters, Deborah Jeffers and Rebecca Smith; his sister-in-law Lera Smith; and his grandchildren, Kevin Dale Texter and Cassidy Linda Texter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends.
