He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth R. Hatch, and Egbert F. Hatch, Sr.; his wives, Dolores R. and Evelyn M.; his son Edward F. Hatch (Sandra); his stepchild Thomas E. Drea; his grandfather Poppy; and his siblings, Wayne Hatch, Robert Hatch and Elizabeth R. Muth.
He is survived by: his stepmother Hazel V.; his children, Dolores R. Hatch (Stephen Leitold), Michael J. Hatch, John P Hatch (Scott Gilreath), Douglas F. Hatch (late Dawn) and Denise Hatch; his stepchildren, Brian P. Drea (Kimberlee) and Deanna M. Drea; and his pet Pike of Berlin, NJ..
Viewing will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (178 W White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (260 W White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009). Covid made him "really retire" at 85 years old.
