He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard T. Parsons and Lucille T. Parsons of Hopewell; his wife Judith Lyn Vilagos; and his brother James T. Parsons of Bristow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to N.C. Wesleyan College general scholarship fund, your local SPCA or rescue facility, or food bank.
