He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph F. McVay, Sr. and Ogenia Coleman McVay; and his brothers, Eugene Coleman McVay and Robert Loren McVay. He is survived by : his children, Crystal Owens (Steven) and Todd McVay (Angie); his grandchildren, Madelyn Owens, Luke Owens and Jonathan McVay; his brother Emmett McVay; his close friend Jerry Smith (Debbie); his former life partner Kathy McVay; and his pets, Indie and Hazel. He is also survived by nephews and friends.
