It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Kay Carpenter Harvey (Hot Springs, Virginia), born in Bel Air, Maryland, who passed away on April 6, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Woodrow Herbert Carpenter and Helen Gay Williams Carpenter; and her brother Dennis Carpenter. She is survived by : her daughters, Tammy Ryder (Charles, Jr.) of Hot Springs, Pamela Ugan (Steven) of Atlanta and Amanda Harvey (Lindsey Wolf) of Bristol, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Dustin, Devin, Dillon, Darin, Dawson Ryder, Keelin, Hayden Medved and Luke Doherty; her great grandchild Gabriel Ryder; her siblings, Donnie Carpenter (Gloria Robbins) of Ocala, Florida and Janice Lockhart (Bill Restivo) of Florida; and her close friend Clinton Burks of Hot Springs. She is also survived by friends and neighbors, and her grandchildren and great grandchild.
