She was predeceased by : her parents, John Russell Spradlin and Willie Skinnell Spradlin; her sister Joyce Spradlin Williams; and her nephews, Montgomery "Monty" Laurence Williams, Jr. and Gregory Allen Williams.

She is survived by : her husband Oliver O. Hollie; her daughter Karen Adkins Russell (Robert "Bud" Cabell); her grandchildren, Robert "Trey" Cabell Russell, III (Hannah Danielle Russell), Lynette Renee Russell (Charles "Charlie" Raymond) and Ryleigh Grayce Russell (Kristopher Michael Harris); and her great grandchild Parker May Russell.

Memorial contributions in Emma's name can be made to Horizon Behavioral Health, 2215 Langhorne Rd., Lynchburg, VA 24501 in lieu of flowers.
