It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vernon Gene Kooi of Huddleston, Virginia, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 10, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Kooi and Rosella Schrader Kooi. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Fossum Kooi; his daughters, Jennifer A. Kooi and Susan L. Hunt (Timothy); his granddaughters, Emily Hunt, Rebecca Hunt and Katie Hunt; his brother Richard A. Kooi; his brother-in-law Pastor Bill Fossum; and his nephews, Jeffrey Fossum (Susan) and David Fossum (Amy).
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a celebration of Verns life will be held at a later date.
