She was predeceased by : her parents, John Bruce "Johnny" Farmer and Lura Mae Phipps Farmer; her husband James Alex "Junior" Bowers; and her brother Claude Farmer. She is survived by : her daughter Teresa; and her son-in-law Tommy Sells of Mouth. She is also survived by One Niece, several cousins, and many special friends.

Donations in her memory can be given to Elk Creek Rescue Squad, Elk Creek Vol.
