It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jody Neugent of Independence, Virginia, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Jody Neugent to show support.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Roscoe Nuckolls and Viola Dunford Nuckolls; her husband Hugh Kelly Neugent; and her brothers, Edward Nuckolls and Leroy Nuckolls.

She is survived by : her sons, James Hillenburg (Denise) of Austinville, VA and Bill Hillenburg of Ivanhoe, VA; her grandchildren, Darren Hillenburg and Nichole Sadler; and her sisters, Freda Hall (Arie) of Wytheville, VA, Rose Arnold (Zell) of Wytheville, VA and Margaret Porter (Jack) of Wytheville, VA. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
