He is survived by : his wife Jody Neugent; his stepsons, James Hillenburg (Denise) of Austinville, VA and Bill Hillenburg of Ivanhoe, VA; his siblings, Roger Neugent of Statesville, Jessie Neugent of Wytheville, VA, David Halsey (Dana) of Elk Creek, VA, Nancy Neugent of Elk Creek, VA, Blanche Settlers (Carlos) of Sweetwater, TN and Janie Lowe (Virgil) of Fancy Gap, VA; his stepgrandchildren, Nicki Hillenburg and Darin Hillenburg; and his sisters-in-law, Rita Hall (Arrie) of Wytheville, VA, Rose Arnold (Harmon F.) of Wytheville, VA and Margaret Porter (Jack) of Ivanhoe, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
