We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2020, at the age of 85, Odessa B. Hawkins of Independence, Virginia, born in Galax, Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Odessa B. Hawkins to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Tom Leland and Willie Agnes Porter Kirby; and her husband Wilburn Hawkins. She is survived by : her daughters, Becky Boyer of Independence and Wanda Bare of Jefferson; and her stepdaughter Fran (Jimmy Funk) of Galax, Virginia. She is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
