He was predeceased by : his father Howard Prevatte; his brother Bobby Ray Prevatt; his parents-in-law, Randolph L. and Pauline Orebaugh; his brother-in-law John R. Horne, Sr. (Buster); and his niece Pamela Ann Prevatte.
He is survived by : his wife Mary Ellen Orebaugh Prevatte; his daughter Marlene Kay Skinner (David "Scott"); his adoptive son Curtis "Junior" Bolen, Jr. (Teresa); his grandchildren, Brooklynne Burden (Jesse) and Devin Skinner (Lexy); his great grandchildren, Brantley Witt and Carson Burden; his brother James H. Prevatte (Mary Ann); and his great-aunt Linda Paulhamus (Paul). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
