He was predeceased by : his parents, Samuel L Haskins, Sr. and Easter E. Haskins (Mildred Haskins); his wife Mildred Evelyn Hicks; his daughter Karen Henderson; and his siblings, Samuel Haskins, Jr., Mary Williams and Dorothy Ford.

He is survived by : his children, Rose Johnson, Glynis Robertson (Wilbur) and Isiah Haskins (Twyler); his siblings, Elizabeth Byrd, Virginia Sydnor, Nelson Haskins (Ida), James Haskins (Louise) and Alvin Haskins (Annette); his grandchildren, Aaron Henderson (Medina), Karrice Henderson, Chante Haskins, Samuel Haskins, Ryan Robertson, Sr. and Nicholas Robertson; and his great grandchildren, Madison Henderson, Aaron Henderson, Jr., Isaiah Robertson, Ryan Robertson, II and Caleb Stith. He is also survived by relatives and friends.

During this time, Bill was certified in brick masonry, adding a room onto his home, and laying the foundation himself.
