He was predeceased by: his wife Opal Hayden Hogston of Saltville Va; and his daughters, Nancy Hogston Miller, Chilhowie Va, Gina Hogston Smith and Saltville Va.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Hogston (Kathy) and Pam Hogston Doane (Ronnie); his sons-in-law, T. O. Miller, Jeff Smith (Michelle) and Saltville Va; and his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Hayden and Judy Hayden. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great grand children.
