He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ramsey Martin and Mary Terry Martin (Burnett) of Paducah, Kentucky; his siblings, Muscoe Martin and Sally Kohrs; and his daughter Barbara Bench Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Garland Martin; and his children, Mary Case "Cary" Martin, Charlottesville, Nashville, Joseph Ramsey "Jody" Martin and Ill.
