It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Junior Mitchell (Jewell Ridge, Virginia), born in Richlands, Virginia, who passed away on May 16, 2018, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parent Harlan Blane; his wife Izell Keen Mitchell; his siblings, Betty Jean Mitchell, Connie Meadows and James Mitchell; and his siblings-in-law, Sylvia Mae Keen, Troy Keen of Alfred Harman, Ed Vance and Ralph Vance.

He is survived by : his parent Goldie Short Mitchell; his daughters, Ginger Davis (Ronnie) of Cedar Bluff, Betty Mitchell of Jewell Ridge and Patricia Hurd (Kenneth) of Bristol, TN; his siblings-in-law, Judy Mitchell of Tazewell, Sandra Sisk (Ira) of Clifton Fork, Frances Meadows (Charles) of Jewell Ridge, VA, Coy Keen (Patsy) of Clifton Fork and Jackie Keen (Melissa) of Oakwood, VA; his mother-in-law Elizabeth Bennett of Clifton Fork, VA; and his grandchildren, Robert Hurd, Rhiannon Hurd and Reagan Davis.
