We bid farewell to Barbara Jean Elkins Collingsworth (Jonesville, Virginia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 1, 2025 at the age of 81. Barbara Jean Elkins touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Elkins and Merle Elkins; her siblings, Ann Elkins Mills Tharp, Lydia Lavinia Elkins Hall and Patton; her sister-in-law Ollie Elkins; and her former husband Bobby Collingsworth.

She is survived by: her son Gary Collingsworth (Angela) of Jonesville; her granddaughters, Ashley Broadhuhn (Brandon) of Pennington Gap, Verity Collingsworth of Minnesota and Autumn Collingsworth of Jonesville; her great grandchildren, Pyper and Phoenyx Broadhuhn of Pennington Gap; her siblings, Bobbie Speck of West Virginia, Tommy Elkins of Texas and James "J. C."; and her sister-in-law Nell Crawford of Castlewood, VA. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Robinette Funeral Home (146 Maple Dr, Jonesville, VA 24263). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent for the upkeep of Bledsoe-Elkins Cemetery.
