She was predeceased by : her husband James Calton; her parents, Ruby and William Stapleton Sr.; and her great-niece Brianna Nicole Cope. She is survived by : her close friend Norman Jacobs; and her siblings, William Stapleton (Sherry) of Princess Anne, MD, Johnny Stapleton of Pennington Gap, VA, Jimmy Stapleton (Lois) of St. Charles, VA and Wanda Cope (Johnny) of Jonesville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews family and friends.
